Dr. Becker has been in plastic surgery practice since 1981 and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and completed his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Becker is a member of many regional and national medical societies, including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons - Edinburgh.

Dr. Becker specializes in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Breasts, Facial Rejuvenation, and Liposuction. He is both nationally and internationally recognized for his expertise in plastic surgery, having published more than 50 articles in the plastic surgery literature. He has written several chapters in plastic surgery books and recently published his own book, "What Are You Putting On Your Skin".

He has developed several medical patents including The Becker Adjustable Breast Implant, The Becker Liposuction Cannula and the Becker/Rojas Power Assisted Liposuction Device.

Dr. Becker has appeared on many television programs as an expert in his field. He will be seen on ABC's 20/20 news show featuring his latest breast augmentation techniques and the adjustable breast implant. He has recently appeared on the National American Health Care Network, and was also voted one of the top breast surgeons in the United States by Good Housekeeping Magazine.

Dr. Becker lectures at professional seminars throughout the world given to fellow physicians concerning his innovative techniques.
